Mortgage Satisfaction
Mortgage was paid, no satisfaction was filed, bank no longer in business how do I get documents needed?
Everyone seems to be right. So how do you find the owner of your mortgage?
First simply try tracing your payments back to their reciever, you must have been paying someone. Second, just try a trip to the country recorders offices who will have a copy of the lien holder.
If you still seem to be having significant problems, you’ll need to consider getting a “real estate” lawyer, who can probably clear this up quickly or know what to do.
