My girlfriend and i need to buy a house, i have poor credit, but my girlfriend doesn’t, please help…?
My girlfriend and i really need to buy a house, im 21 years old, shes 19. Ive been searching around in the PA area and the houses here would be cheaper to Mortgage than rent. Small houses to start off in. If im right, then owning a home would be cheaper and give me more of a chance to get out of debt, but since i have bad credit, im not able to get a mortgage. My girlfriend on the other hand has great credit but doesn’t have a good paying job, but in turn i do. I was wondering if there was someway she could put the house in her name and i would pay for the mortgage and or bills. She goes to college and having a house nearby to live in would eliminate her room and board on her tuition. Putting her name in a house would allow the college to approve her to stay off campus… Please Help!!!
There are loans available to people in your situation. Just start talking to bankers and don’t get discouraged. Right now is a great time to buy. Just ask your realtor to show you bank owned houses. There are plenty available and some go for 40 cents on the dollar. Another great way to buy with poor credit is a lease-option or “rent to own.” Good luck.
